Technical Account Engineer

Daasity has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Account Engineer with proven experience providing best-in-class service and a passion for data analytics.  The Technical Account Engineer will act as a liaison, point of contact and problem-solver for customers using Daasity, an e-commerce analytics and visualization platform which helps direct to consumer brands understand, analyze and take action on consolidated e-commerce data, from sources such as Shopify, Google Analytics, Facebook and more.  Interactions between the Technical Account Engineer and customers will have a direct impact on Daasity’s reputation, growth and revenue. The candidate should have previous proven experience as an account manager, and have technical acumen.
  • Study, learn and become a subject matter expert with our business, customers and their unique needs, our data and visualizations.
  • Receive, manage, clarify and prioritize (along with the Project Manager) communications from multiple customers including new feature requests and general inquiries. Requests may be delivered via ticketing system, email or phone.
  • Collaborate with customer to collect business requirements for new deliverables and features
  • Meet with customers to discuss current successes, challenges (mostly by phone)
  • Update Daasity internal systems and customers on request status
  • Assist with communication plans for product rollouts
  • Interface with Project Manager, Analysts, and other team members
  • Treat customers with integrity, compassion and respect
  • Efficiently handle multiple tasks and requests simultaneously and manage competing priorities.

Required Qualifications and Skills 

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication in business terms with external customers and technical level with internal colleagues
  • Capability to maintain the highest confidentiality around company proprietary information
  • Enjoyment of working with and communicating with people and solving problems
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize while remaining calm and pleasant
  • Passion for data, analytics and e-commerce
  • Proven history of successful account management
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts, understand SQL and visualizations
  • Solid problem-solving skills
  • Experience collecting requirements from customers
  • 1-3 years experience in business intelligence and/or reporting and SQL
  • Knowledge of Shopify, Google Analytics
  • Strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications and Skills 

  • Project management experience
  • Experience with ZenDesk a plus
  • Experience working at a software company
  • Experience with databases or data modeling
  • Knowledge of marketing or e-commerce
  • Knowledge of Looker or similar BI tool
  • Knowledge of agile software development
  • Previous sales experience
